Did someone just vacuum out my mind?

This b l a n k s p a c e is intimidating right now.

I must confess that I've been feeling a little weak in the creative thought department lately. It could be due in part to my current lack of zeal for life. Hold on. Life in general, is fantastic, but I've found myself down a bit of a rabbit whole, not sure which way is up. Oh no, this sounds a bit like a prelude to a heavy drug use story.

No sireee (how do you spell that, sir - ee?).
Hugs, not drugs.

It's just that since moving to L.A. I've found myself all over the place. In all fairness to the city, I haven't been here long enough to fully assess its attributes, though upon what I've had of a first glance... we're not friends. I want to be friends, but it sort of feels like high school, and in High School, well, I was over it before it began.

There are a million opportunities here for artists, but in the midst of doors opening and closing at random, I'm finding a need to reevaluate what I really want. I suppose as a musician/artist in L.A., I'm not supposed to admit things like this.

I didn't anticipate a journal-esque entry for this blog. I suppose as a musician/artist in L.A., I'm not supposed to admit things like this, but here it is. Originally, I was just going to post a Christmas Mash-Up I made of "We Three Kings" + "Joy to The World," and then share my traditional Christmas movie list...

Drawing back to that original intent, allow me to share my 3 traditional Christmas movies with you. Now, I wouldn't dare say these are THE BEST - they're simply ones I watch every year.

White Christmas (w/ Bing Crosby! If you don't watch this movie, you might as well cut off your arm, because you're missing out on something that valuable!)

Elf (Hello, Will Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel. I think that's all I need to say.)

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Though I did appreciate Jim Carrey as the Grinch, and now-Gossip Girl's Little J.'s Cindy Loo Hooing, there's nothing like the original Suess.)

And finally, here's the aforementioned song:

I'm sure the Holidays will usher in more reasons to blog. Yippee. Seriously though, I hope your December KICKS ASS.

Love.
