TETRIS genious.

Packing has taken A LOT more time than I originally imagined. I just finished maneuvering everything with masterful precision into the confines of my 4door sedan.

Gross, it's 2:25am, and I had grand plans of leaving by 7am tomorrow. Not gonna happen. Before 9am is my new goal. As I have no ambition to drive 15+hrs consecutively, I have split my trip up into two sections.

Section one: Colorado to Vegas.
Section two: Vegas to L.A.

This will be my second trip to Las Vegas. I'll have to be careful, given that my last adventure there was quite fruitful (on a small scale,) and if you know anything about statistics (which I don't,) it's inevitable that I'd MOST LIKELY loose money. Cut to me living out of my car in Vegas because I lost it all. False. Not gonna happen.

WELL - I do realize that it's been a long stretch since my last blog, so I thought I'd catch you up on my disappearance over the last 4+ months. Observe the photos below.

yes, a burning vat of diesel fuel used in fire training for my obscure summer job above the arctic circle.

the arctic ocean, folks.

A most necessary trip to Homer, Alaska over the 4th of July. (loveliest town)

Rabid foxes at play. Though, the 8yr old in me wants to say "they're doing the foxtrot"

Lastly, a blurry look at me playing at a very dear friend's wedding in San Francisco.

Moving to L.A. has a lot of question marks looming over it. Well...Onward. I'm really looking forward to living in a city again. I can't say that I've deemed myself as a 'city girl,' but I find they're typically more adventuresome.

WELL, as I was traveling all summer and was LIMITED with luggage, I had no real time to work on music/record. I've definitely been writing a slew of songs - and when things settle, they shall perhaps appear.

THANK you THANK you for connecting and reading.
BE WELL.

p.s. I am going to ATTEMPT to document my roadtrip/move. Get ready for some video magic.

  1. "Life is a highway/ I'm gonna drive it all night long.." The Rascal Flatts say.
I'd like to say the same to you and wish you luck and fun in this trip (obviously if you had that kombi from 'little miss sunshine' and some crazy dudes with you, that'd be certainly amusing!)

When you have all your things settled lemme know, right?

    Love and peace!

    Leandro.
